Non-Compete Agreement

This contract was created for us by an attorney in the state of Ohio, however, we understand that laws and guidelines may vary from state to state.  This agreement is intended to be used as a guideline not a legal document.  We made it available to you in an editable word/pages document so that you could make any changes you need to be compliant in your state. 

Although it is often questioned in our industry whether or not these types of agreements hold up in court, we have found that having this type of agreement signed and understood holds both us and the new hire accountable.  A new hire will not sign this if they are not serious about growing their business and career in your salon--it shows their level of commitment right off the bat.  And also shows them how seriously you protect the culture of your business and the sustainability of it for your team to grow in.  You don't hire just anyone!! You hire people that want to plant their feet and grow...and this agreement proves that you do that!
